Driven by the views and sunlight, this Mount Lyford residency uses elevated bridge walkways which orient users toward key viewpoints and shelters spread throughout the site. The brief for the design was to create two separate dwellings, one for the client and the other for their mother.

The design responds to the steep slope of the site in two ways; the first building elevates the user above the treetops to maximize the mountain range views, whilst the secondary building slopes down with the site, nestling the user within the forest setting.
